“Mountain Retreat” As humans, I believe we are intrinsically in tune with nature as there’s something special about it that evokes that sense of calmness within us. A restorative power,maybe? Similar concept with grounding. This project aims to emulate the characteristics of nature bringing it inwardly at the same time making it nature-immersive and foster a deep sense of connection with the environment.
Swiss Memories, designed by Interiors by Mau, is a warm and elegant space that brings the essence of Swiss-inspired design to life. Featuring natural wood tones, cozy textures, and timeless craftsmanship, the interior creates an atmosphere of comfort, sophistication, and nostalgia. Project Casa Sol: “Swiss Memories” 🏔️ Last year was my “travel year”. Before I left for a certain trip, the client gave me an assignment to observe, take notes and find inspiration in Switzerland, specifically how Swiss Chalet looks like. From there, the birth of “Swiss Memories” as a design concept was brought to life. Capturing the essence of the Alpine lifestyle—cozy, natural, and steeped in tradition—while nourishing the beauty of the surrounding landscape. Truly a favorite memory one will always cherish.
Project 223: “Sands of Time” ⏳ Endless. Flowing. Gradual. An hourglass symbolizes these qualities—how time is both finite and infinite, with sands that flow continuously and gradually, embodying the slow and steady progression of time. In an era where trends and fads have become commonplace, shaping our lifestyles and choices, the concept of the Sands of Time emerges. It’s a captivating way to instill a sense of timelessness and continuity within a space. “A space that transcends time” is what i’d like to put it.
Project 516: Pearl of the Orient 🦪 For some people home is where the family is, a place where we find comfort and peace. Home is where the heart is, The Philippines. The place we long to return to, that no other country could give, the warmth this place could give. “Pearl of the Orient” is historically used to describe the beauty and rich biodiversity of the Philippines. Every corner of the design embodies the essence of the Philippines—its connection to the sea, its abundance of natural resources, and its rich cultural heritage. “Pearl of the Orient” is not just a concept but a story told through thoughtful design, where elegance meets the untamed beauty of nature.
